Loaded and Layered Açai Breakfast Jar

Start the day the best way – açai and fresh fruits sandwiched either side of delicious chia pudding.

To blend is your friend

1. Prep

Slightly thaw the pack with warm water for a few seconds and break up the açai into smaller pieces.

2. Ingredients needed

(You can use frozen or fresh fruit – it’s up to you!)

Chia Pudding

  • 4 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • A pinch of vanilla powder

Acai Smoothie Layer

  • 1 frozen acai sachet (100 grams)
  • 1 cup strawberries
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 tbsp almond butter
  • 2 tsp unsweetened desiccated coconut
  • 3-4 fresh mint leaves
  • 1/4 cup almond milk

Fruit Layer

Mash mixed fresh berries (such as strawberries) with a fork to make a juice and chunky pieces

3. Instructions

Into a medium bowl place the chia seeds, almond milk and vanilla powder. Mix together and leave for 15 minutes, until the seeds have
absorbed the liquid.

Place the smoothie layer ingredients into a blender and mix to a creamy texture.

Layer your jar by adding half of the mashed fruits, below a layer of chia pudding. Add a layer of açaismoothie and top with fresh fruits, mint leaves and coconut flakes.

4. Top

Top your bowl with:

  • 1/2 cup of raspberries
  • 1/2 cup of blueberries
  • 1/2 cup of granola
  • Mint Leaves
